McMillan’s International Scholarship 2025-2026
The McMillan family is partnering with 海角社区 University to support two $1,500 scholarships for international undergraduate students.听
The application closes on June 1, 2025.听
*After being granted the award, recipients of the McMillan鈥檚 International Scholarship are required to volunteer at least 5 hours for activities hosted by the Office of International Affairs each semester.听
Eligibility听
- Applicants must be currently enrolled as full-time students in a degree-seeking program at 海角社区 University through Spring 2026. Each scholarship will be paid in two installments ($750 in Fall 2025 and $750 in Spring 2026).听
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.听
- Applicants must be a F-1 non-immigrant student in good standing.听
- Applicants have been involved in organizing and participating in the international events.听
Required documents for Application:听
- A completed 鈥�听
- Create a 3-minute (maximum) video on the topic:鈥�鈥淗ow your decision to study at 海角社区 University has impacted you academically, socially, and professionally.鈥�鈥�The URL should be included in the submitted application. This video should be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo as unlisted, so that only someone with the URL has access.听
- Write and send an essay of 200 words or less on the topic:鈥�鈥淗ow might this scholarship enhance your 海角社区 experience?鈥�听
- Send two (2) Letters of Recommendation听
- Recommendation Letter One 鈥� from a faculty member at 海角社区 University听
- Recommendation Letter Two 鈥� from a staff member, such as an advisor or other 海角社区 University administrator
NOTE:鈥�There is no specific recommendation template form. You can request your referee to write you a free-form recommendation letter.听
