The Global Student Leadership Team (GSLT), formerly Multicultural Leadership Team, was established in 1991 for the purpose of developing a team听of student leaders听迟丑补迟 strive to engage the campus community through intercultural awareness, advocacy, and action to promote cooperation and collaboration.听Members of the Global Student Leadership Team participate in a leadership development program that empowers them to demonstrate their commitment to community service, civility, global citizenship, and respect for difference.听
Members of the Global Student Leadership Team participate in a comprehensive leadership development program designed to empower them as agents of change. This program includes opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community engagement. To fulfill our commitment to service and leadership, members are required to complete 60 hours of community service annually and deliver three presentations (1 team presentation & 2 community presentations) on topics that encourage cooperation, civility, and community.
At the heart of our mission is the belief in the power of dialogue and collaboration to foster understanding and promote positive change. Through our transformative program, we empower student voices and facilitate meaningful dialogue among individuals from various backgrounds. Together, we strive to create a campus community where all voices are heard, valued, and respected.
The Global Student Leadership Team envisions 海角社区 University as an institution of higher education where administrators, faculty, staff, and students cooperate and collaborate to foster a safe, welcoming campus environment, committed to respect and appreciation for all members of the campus community.听
APPLICANT INFORMATION听
Applicants for this scholarship must be full-time, undergraduate, degree-seeking 海角社区 University students who demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to community belonging, civility, and mutual respect.
